Water sports

Welcome back for the week of November 6 through November 12 where the subject matter of the two assignments this week just happened to be water sports. OK, that's a stretch, sort of.

The first group of photos is a set of portraits of a female surfer with different poses and lighting options. The second set of photos is from a Los Angeles Kings and San Jose Sharks hockey game (frozen water sport, yes?) Do you have that English muffin all buttered up? Is your cup of tea ready? A series of editorial photographs for a portrait assignment of a female surfer. I did a wide variety of shots including some grid lights, shutter drags in the later evening and pushing the exposure.

A set of five photos from the Los Angeles Kings hockey game against the San Jose Sharks. The first three are the standard game shots, then in the third quarter I tried some near-fish eye angles.
