Coverage of presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama at a rally in Santa Barbara.




Following the rally, Barack Obama was the guest at a star-studded fundraiser hosted by Oprah Winfrey at her 42-acre Montecito estate. Because of the thousands of invited guests, who donated $2,300 each to attend the fundraiser, the common-folk guests where loaded up on buses at a showgrounds across town, bused over to Montecito to wait outside the back entrance of Oprah's estate until the gates opened for each busload.
